Why Axalta Paint Certification Matters
Great automotive paint is not just about color. It is science.
Paint Is More Than Paint
Modern automotive refinishing is a complete system. Surface preparation, primers, basecoat, clearcoat, curing, and color matching all work together to create the finished result.
If one step is rushed, the repair can suffer. That is why we treat paint as part of the collision repair itself, not just the final cosmetic touch.
Matching Color Takes Technology
Modern vehicle colors can be extremely complex. Metallics, pearls, multi-stage finishes, sun exposure, age, and previous repairs can all change how a color looks.
So matching paint is not as simple as looking up a paint code. Axalta’s advanced color-matching technology helps technicians analyze the existing finish and find the closest possible match for that specific vehicle.
Technology gets us closer. Skilled preparation, spray technique, blending, equipment settings, and curing finish the job.
The goal is simple: you should not be able to tell where the repair happened.
Why Quality Paint Matters
Cheap paint can look good on pickup day. The real test is how it looks years later.
Your vehicle’s finish is constantly exposed to sunlight, heat, rain, road grime, chemicals, insects, and debris. A quality refinishing system is designed to protect color, gloss, adhesion, and durability.
We are not just trying to make your vehicle look good today. We want it to stay looking good.
Why We Use Axalta
